Have we sent spacecrafts to Pluto? Pluto has not yet been visited by a spacecraft, but one is on its way. In Janauary 2006, NASA launched the first mission to Pluto. This mission, which is currently called New Horizons, will reach Pluto and its moon Charon in July 2015.
