Infrared Dog |
|
|
This warm-blooded dog is covered with a thick coat of fur which prevents much of the heat generated by his body from escaping. In the infrared we can see how areas of the dog which are covered by thicker fur are cooler, while areas not covered by much fur, like the eyes, ears and mouth (when open) glow brightly in the infrared. Notice how cool the dog's nose is! In a couple of these images you can also see the dog's cool water dish.
