What's New? (October 2002) Several new images have been added to the Multiwavelength Messier Museum. We now feature multiple views of 26 objects listed in the famous Messier catalog of astronomical objects as well as 9 additional non-Messier objects. Our galleries include various types of celestial objects, accompanied by explanatory text. Our source list for telescopic images has been expanded, especially for visible-light images provided by amateurs. We also include a variety of radio images beyond the NVSS survey, some of which are high-resolution photos obtained with the National Radio Astronomy Observatory's Very Large Array (VLA). Most galleries still include up to nine images of Messier objects, including three different visible-light images and photos obtained at three different infrared wavelengths. Additional objects will be added to our Museum in the near future!
