Ms. Sartore reports that they spent about 45 minutes with the school
board, and that "they were blown away." Also, the newspaper article
resulted in an invitation to present something at the Museum of Arts &
Sciences. They will be presenting in their auditorium during the
International Astronomy Day celebration on April 28th. Ms. Sartore
also presented a session at SEEC (Space Exploration Educator's
Conference) on 2/2/12, and reports that it "went very well. Everybody
snapped up the NITARP brochures, and there were lots of questions."
January 2012
Ms. Sartore brought 2 students with her to present their posters at
the AAS. Please see the AAS 2012

present at the late January School Board meeting, and did a great job!

local press.
September 2011
Ms. Sartore and her team were featured in a county school newsletter.
July 2011
Ms. Sartore brought 2 people with her to her team's Pasadena visit in

Ms. Sartore is a new NITARP educator this year, and has just started
with her team. She came to the Seattle AAS to meet her team. She
writes, "I can't wait to get started, and neither can my students!"
