Highlights of team activities


January 2009

The team presented the following posters at the January 2009 AAS meeting in Long Beach:

Spitzer 3.6 and 5.8 micron monitoring of the Seyfert 1 NGC 4051 (ADS Abstract)

Spitzer Space Telescope Research Program for Teachers and Students: Using Spitzer Data to Teach About Active Galactic Nuclei (ADS Abstract)

August 2008

The NGC 4051 team had a successful visit at the SSC during August 9-12 working with lead scientist Varoujan Gorjian on their Spitzer data. Twenty-six teachers and students attended. The team is now preparing posters for the January AAS.

Funding for NITARP comes from the NASA ADP program and NASA/Archive EPO program.
