Infrared Worms
|
These worms are cold-blooded and appear cool (dark) in the infrared. They are
a bit warmer than the surrounding air in these images because they are being
warmed up by the hand holding them.
The human hand holding the worms, appears bright (warm) in the infrared because
people are warm-blooded and generate their own heat, which is usually higher
than the surrounding air temperature.
